On December 21, 2020, Vietnamese Ambassador to Israel H.E. Do Minh Hung and Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi signed a Protocol on Amendment of the Air Transport Agreement between Vietnam and Israel, with the aim of strengthening cooperation in the aviation sector in which there are plans to open direct flights to promote trade and tourism between the two countries.
